Day 24, Week 4, Phase 1


We have officially retired 3 workouts this week, and tonight’s AAA will make 4! Only 3 workouts left in Phase 1 for me! It just feels almost surreal that I have been THIS excited and THIS on point with a program for THIS long. I know we aren’t even 1/3 of the way done, so there is still a LOT of days left in this round, but the light inside of me is burning so bright. I truly can see and feel the change happening throughout my body, mind, and soul.

One of the things that I have been consistent with for almost two years, but have learned to appreciate even more recently is my daily Shakeology. I realized that it has only been a little over 3 months since I got my haircut and I NEED another one so bad already. I decided to take a pic and put it side by side, so check this out….

That is a LOT of growth for 3 months, right?!?! Especially when you consider my hair is curly so if it was stretched out straight it would look even longer. My nails grow like crazy too. And while I am sure my nutrition and my current hair care routine is probably helping with that growth, I truly believe Shakeology helps with the growth as well! I can’t prove that by any means, but I can make assumptions, soo….

Anyway, today was the first day that I went out to eat since starting this program. I had previously decided to skip the usual Thursday lunch eating out because I wanted to avoid as many temptations as possible and because I was truly enjoying the food that I had been preparing for myself, but today I decided to give it a go as long as the boys would go somewhere that I knew I could make good decisions. We decided to go to Applebee’s, and while many things on the menu looked delicious and tempting, I made the best choice I could and got the Thai Shrimp salad with the dressing on the side. All in all, it looked entirely approved (except probably the dressing) but I only used like half of one of the ramekins so all in all I would say I did a really great job.

Lunch is normally a green, red, yellow, teaspoon, and an orange, and based on what I see in the salad I had a green, red, yellow and orange, and I am counting the teaspoon as the dressing as well. There were some almonds in there, which are a blue, but honestly not enough for me to stress about it….and at least they are an approved food on the list!

Yesterday I was feeling pretty confident in my clothes and decided to snap a photo mid-day during my lunch break.

My body is not quite where I want to be yet, but A LOT closer than I was 3.5 weeks ago.

This program yall….it’s changing MY LIFE!
