Ok so, what happened was….
Costa Rica.
Food poisoning.
Life.
Business.
And so here we are a few weeks later and I have lots to tell you!
So let’s start with Costa Rica! What an INCREDIBLE trip! We had such a great time and I am pretty sure I want to move there now. I have even begun daily Spanish lessons every day because that is my newest goal to complete by the time I am 30. I worked out every day (except the last day) while I was there and it felt so good. The cuisine was pretty healthy and we were on the go so much that there wasn’t much time or options to snack so all in all I did pretty good. Until the last day….I think I got food poisoning, which lasted for 6 full days. It was rough. During that time, I sadly missed an entire week of workouts. I hardly ate or drank and what I did eat/drink was not good options (not meal plan approved), but it is what it is. Once I felt normal again, I hopped right back on the train and picked up where I left off.
I was really hoping to finish these 80 days with no slip-ups or no missed workouts, but life happens yall, and most of the time it is out of our control. You just have to learn to roll with the punches and pick back up where you left off and life will be golden. THAT is how you will continue to make progress through the tribulations of life….getting back AT IT!
So anyway, I returned from CR, took the week off, and this week I re-started week 11. I am not a week behind my test group fam, but that’s ok. I am just happy to be healthy again without a trip to the hospital. This week my eating has been 100% on plan since picking back up, and I intend to finish out the next 2.5 weeks the same way. Hard to believe there is only 2.5 weeks left in this program!!! I have already committed to starting round 2 of this program on 4/23, so this is the PERFECT time to decide you want to join me and do it already!
This Sunday I will be travelling to DC with one of my coaches to meet, learn from, and workout with Autumn and I am freaking PUMPED. Like, literally cannot wait.
Week 11 in phase 3 goes back to 3 sets of 10 reps of each move with heavy weights, but we burn out each muscle group before moving on and this is definitely my favorite week of each phase. I am loving the workouts this week and the fact that I CAN workout, and it feels really good. Yesterday was leg day again and I am a little sore, but nothing crazy, and honestly kind of shocked. We will see how I feel tomorrow after Total Body Core though…lol!
I do have to say though…. IT FEELS GOOD TO FEEL GOOD!!! I am soooo ready for this spring and summer and have 80 Day Obsession to thank entirely. I am OBSESSED!!!
