Another awesome month with Ipsy!!! I am so glad that I decided to subscribe when I did, because every bag I have gotten so far has been awesome. Maybe because I am more into makeup than I ever have been, but it seriously is like Christmas every month for me.

First of all, I absolutely love the design of the bag this month. The print is fun and unique, and the bags that have the zipper on the front are my favorite. I am using every bag so far for so many purposes and it is just so much fun.

Second, I LOVE every product I got this month. Here is what came in my bag:

-Jouer Get Glowing cream highlighter in Tiare

-Elizabeth Mott Show Me Your Cheeks blush in Peach Pink

-Urban Decay eyeshadow in Lounge

-Japonesque Solid Brush Cleanser

-BioRepublic SkinCare fiber face masks in Cucumber Breeze and Pomegranate Crush

And here is what I think of each product:

Jouer Get Glowing cream highlighter(sample size): The color is really pretty, and after several uses, I finally “figured” out how to apply it. I prefer either liquid or powder highlighters, so the cream is weird for me. None of my brushes seem appropriate to apply so I just use my fingers which just feels weird to me. At first I thought it was stupid, but the product is growing on me. It really gives me a nice glow, and I like that it isn’t “too” shimmery. I still prefer powdered or liquid highlighters, but this isn’t a total bust. I will not purchase the full size product,

Show Me Your Cheeks blush(sample size): I really like this blush, especially since it is my go-to shade. But because it is my go-to shade, I have sooo many blushes like this. I was thinking I probably wouldn’t use this very much, but I like the shimmer it has in it compared to many of my current blushes, so I threw away one of my old ones to make room for this. The packaging seems really cheap and is awkward to open, but for a sample I can’t complain too much. I really like this one.

Urban Decay eyeshadow(sample size): Ok, this is so much of a winner. Sample or not, there is a lot of product there, and I will probably never run out, especially since I don’t wear too much eye shadow. But this shade is a color-shifting shade that goes from green to red. I HATE red/green combos, because Christmas, but I really like this. It goes on like a sort of dark color and when it catches the light it sort of changes to red. It is so beautiful and I DEFINITELY want to try more shades in this line. The color is very nice and the pigment is pretty strong. Don’t need to use too much to make an impact. Love it.

Brush Cleanser(full size, I think): Another winner! I was most excited to try this when I got it, and it did not disappoint. It is so easy to use, smells absolutely amazing, and left my brushes softer than ever before. They cleaned up so well, and smell so good now. I will use this until it runs out and will definitely order more when I need to. Great product!

BioRepublic face masks(2 full size masks): I have never tried a sheet mask before so I didn’t know what to expect, but I tried the Pomegranate one after the shower while I was drying my hair the other morning and it was fab. It had a cooling effect the whole time, and stayed in place-even as I threw my head around. It smelled wonderful and left my face feeling really soft. When I took it off, there was a lot of leftover product on my face and the instructions say to just rub it in, so I did but there was still a lot left so I just wiped it off with a clean cloth. I can’t wait to use the cucumber one (probably tonight). I will probably buy again.

BONUS: I saw there was a product sent out to people called clariSEA Deep Pore Detox Activated Charcoal Exfoliating Mask and I was very curious, so I started reading reviews. Long story short, I used the Ipsy offer to get it for 30% off and it came in the mail yesterday. I tried it last night and OMG! LOVE! My face felt so soft and refreshed afterwards. I am soooo happy I ordered. Love love love! Plus, not only did they send me the large container that I bought, but they sent me the small ipsy sized sample as well. Good job clariSEA!
