Day 1(Again) – 21 Day Fix Extreme

First of all, HAPPY SUMMER!

With that being said, I would be starting week 3 today of my first round of 21 Day Fix Extreme, but much to my chagrin, I have completely fallen off track and definitely was not giving it 100%, so I restarted today. BONUS: last week the CEO of Beachbody, Carl Daikeler, announced that they will be making a new 21 Day Fix Extreme informercial and want REAL stories in the commercial, so I decided to re-start the program today with a clean slate and *attempt* to make it into the commercial! There is already almost 6,000 people in the “test group” on facebook, so my chances are probably slim to none, but if it helps push me to get awesome results, then it will be worth it. Like I said, making the commercial would just be a giant bonus!!!

Last night I decided to push play on Yoga Fix Extreme at about 9:30pm (which is waaaay later than I ever would have worked out), but I knew yoga would help me set my mind right, get some stretching in, and set the tone for the week. THEN I realized today is not only the Summer Solstice, but also a full moon, so another late night yoga session just feels necessary. I plan to salute the moon tonight and continue with getting my mind right. Three weeks is like no time at all, but I know if I don’t commit mentally to the extreme plan, that I will not succeed to my best ability, so that is on the lineup for the day (also Power Strength Extreme from the deluxe kit, too).

By the way, here is a moon salutation in case you were wondering (and wanted to do them with me tonight!):

In the mean time, I am REALLY going to focus on clean eating these next 3 weeks. It is going to be tough during the last week, since I will be on stay-cation, but I AM going to do it no matter what. I am already dreading it during vacation because I know I will want to drink and eat junk food, so I will need your help to stay accountable and focused. I KNOW that when I eat crappy and drink that I always FEEL horrible the next day, but it always feels so good at the time that it is hard to stop/say no. Do you have any tips to stay on track during vacation? I am trying to learn them all!!!

I spent a while yesterday meal planning and prepping and here is the menu for this week:
