I almost can’t believe that I am even typing this, but I am on the final (normal) week of 22 Minute Hard Corps, and I feel phenomenal. Granted, this week I overindulged in food and wine and am not very proud of my weakness this weekend, but the fact that I have stuck to a program and have just about seen it through in its entirety is a feeling I have never experienced before. With that being said, I am going to really commit extra this week to keeping my nutrition on track so I can get the best results possible for myself. I am excited/nervous for Hell Week that follows this week, but I am ready to tackle it!
I drank my Energize tonight right after work and immediately hit play on Special Ops Resistance. I was able to keep up just about the whole time and I even used the sandbag the whole time! I even think I am ready to add more sand to my bag to make it 20 pounds (or at least closer to it)! I am just so amazed at my progress. Even if my results haven’t been quite what I was hoping for, I am still 100% happy I did this program. Not only did I prove to myself that I could see something through in its entirety, but I have gained so much strength and confidence and I am ready to tackle an even more difficult program! Besides, getting fit and slim is not an overnight process, and I know is a continual journey – which just means I get to continue to another program.
Speaking of which, I have decided that I am going to do a round of 21 Day Fix Extreme next, followed by The Master’s Hammer and Chisel. I realllllly think they will get me the results I am looking for, which are:
-Gain muscle and strength
-Build more endurance
-Get to my goal weight of 160lbs. (currently at 168.8)
