Day 21 + Last Week of Phase 1!

Hard to believe that we are already entering the final week of Phase 1 of 80 Day Obsession! As slow as each day goes (especially while at work), time as a whole is passing rather quickly and I feel like I waited SO LONG for this program to be here and now it is just flying by. I am super excited for the results I have gotten so far, and have no plan of letting off the gas anytime soon.

I realized today that as we are entering the final week of Phase 1, that this is the last time we will be doing each of these “workouts” in the sense that Phase 2 begins an entire new set of moves for each of the workouts. Kinda crazy!

Saturday we were back to Cardio Flow and I actually really love this workout. I could feel myself pushing a little harder than I had the last week, even though my butt, legs, and shoulders were SO SORE!!! Lifting heavy on Friday really took its toll on me, and I loved/hated it. Chris was nice enough to rub my shoulders for me a few times this weekend. I am SOOOOO looking forward to my massage and facial this Friday. Come time for my Saturday workout, I pumped the music and just had a total blast doing this workout. Currently we do 4 reps of each move, but then it dawned on me that this is the last week of 4 reps and after that we go to 6 REPS OF EACH MOVE! 😲😧 That is going to be TOUGH!!! Here is the final round of the workout. 20+ minutes deep of repeating this stuff over and over. WOW!

But when I was done, I was feeling strong and lean and totally psyched that I just completed Week 3!!!! I am also feeling much more confident when working out in just a sports bra. MAJOR NSV!!!!!

I can’t remember which foods I had which days but here are some examples of my post-workout meals this weekend:

6 slices of nitrite-free ham, 1/2 sweet potato, green beans, and a side of 1 tsp peanut butter.

2 eggs over medium with hot sauce, 1 slice of whole grain toast with 1 tsp peanut butter, and carrots.

Then Sunday I woke up feeling really dizzy for whatever reason. I got about 10-11 hours of sleep (πŸ™†β€β™€οΈ) but just woke up in a weird feeling. It was already snowing/sleeting, so I got dressed real fast and ran to the grocery store to get that done before the freezing rain was supposed to hit. Chris and I had to run out a second time because apparently Food Lion doesn’t keep spaghetti squash in stock anymore, and we rented 2 movies while we were out.

Came home and did my Stretch and Release routine followed by Roll and Release and I am pretty sure magic happened. Fairies were dancing and I felt so rejuvenated. It was magical.Β πŸ˜‚

20 minutes of stretching condensed into 1 minute. πŸ™‚

Then I was really feeling myself this morning and the lean out that I was seeing after the end of shark week and rest day…

Then I quickly did my meal prep for the week so we could enjoy our down time the rest of the day. Here is what I prepped this week:

–Spinach, strawberry, feta and walnut salad

–washed and portioned grapes, carrots, and celery

–spaghetti squash cooked for lunches

Here is a little tutorial on how I cook spaghetti squash:
