About half-way through my second round, and I have lost 2.5 pounds. I haven’t measured myself yet, but I am hoping to lose a few of those inches as well. Last week I got sick Monday night, and was down for the count for about 7 days. I am still coughing and sniffling, but finally able to workout and feel like I could power through a whole workout. I made it to the gym last night, so I could switch up the routine a bit. My nutrition has been about 75% this round, and I am pretty happy with that. Sadly, the fitness hasn’t been great because of that illness, but I am going hard this last week and a half!
Today has been REALLY great so far.
M1: Vanilla shakeology with a handful of blueberries, coconut extract, water and ice.
M2: 1/2 cup plain non-fat greek yogurt with honey and strawberries.
M3: Can of tuna with 2 tbsp. of miracle whip, 5 small pickles, a piece of toasted whole grain bread, half of a cucumber, and a handful of tortilla chips.
M4: Green apple and a pack of small pickles.
I have also “snuck” a handful of sweethearts that are sitting on my office desk (thanks, boss!) because I just couldn’t pass them up anymore.
I plan on heading to the gym again tonight for a round of BodyCombat so I can really sweat it out today. Pilates just doesn’t sound like it is “enough” for today, so I want to SWEAT.
M5 will be a baked chicken breast, roasted zucchini, and half a sweet potato.
All in all, if I could have days like today everyday, I would be where I wanted to be. So I am trying to remind myself how days like today make me feel mentally vs. eating whatever is in sight and drinking a whole bunch of wine. I want so badly to be able to say no to all of that, and I know it is possible; just difficult.
Today’s motivation thanks to theBerry:
